What an interesting path from idea through to completion and success. Her insight into not allowing other peoples value system of "what should be important to you vs. what is really the reason you make" movies was wonderful. I'm impressed, given the whirlwind of the Oscar experience, that she had the foresight to pull back and realize it so clearly.

And, without intentionally sounding like a suck up, thanks for your continued open source approach to film making. If I had any success worthy of mention at this point, I would approach sharing of knowledge the same way :)

What I like the most is that these interviews are allowed to grow organically as they are not forced to fit into a television interview time frame/format. And this allows the filmmakers to effectively express themselves with as much detail as they feel is required. Great stuff. I feel like I'm getting a free film making lesson every week!
