Web and Database Management Internship

Workbook Project, an open creative network for patrons of new media is looking for the right person to join our team, located in Brooklyn. We are currently interviewing for an intern who will be involved working with our digital assets, managing the back end of our website, updating our blog with weekly content, cleaning up elements of our site, and coming up with creative solutions. You would be working alongside Lance Weiler (Founder of WBP) to manage these assets. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for exposure within the new media network and to harness skills in on-line community development and digital asset management.

Responsibilities would include:
Updating weekly blog with new content, fixing broken links, building out new sections of the website, organizing data

Preferred:
-1-2 days/ week. Hours: 10AM to 6:00 PM. Ideally for 3 months
-Extremely organized with attention to detail
-Should have some sort of knowledge around digital asset management
-Knowledge of Wordpress, FTP’s, basic HTML, Blogging, digital management and organization
-Must own a laptop
-Bright mind to bring ideas to the table
-Enthusiasm!!!

Business Operations and Project Management Internship

Workbook Project, an open creative network for patrons of new media is looking for the right person to join our team, located in Brooklyn. We are currently interviewing for an intern who will be involved in many facets of work, including event coordination, artist management, maintaining relationships, building the WBP network, and many other great opportunities. You would be working alongside Lance Weiler (Founder of WBP) to develop the numerous projects WBP is currently working on. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for exposure within the new media network and to harness skills in on-line community building and creative development of WBP business operations.

Responsibilities would include:
Event coordination, social media, artist management, research, simple website updates, general assistance to numerous projects

Preferred:
-1-2 days/ week. Hours: 10AM to 6:00 PM. Ideally for 3 months
-Extremely organized with the ability to take big ideas and create documentation and processes around the overall production.
-Should have some sort of knowledge around management, producing, or agency workflow within the new media, trans-media, film or marketing field.
-Basic knowledge of html, ftp, wordpress, Photoshop
-Must own a laptop
-Bright mind to bring ideas to the table
-Enthusiasm!!!
